We built this because we needed it ourselves.
I built this to solve a problem in my own company.
I am rarely at one desk. Some days I am at the factory, some days travelling to customers, some days sitting in a meeting — and the business followed me around as emails and phone calls. Should we go ahead with this rate or not. Did anyone reply to that buyer. How many inquiries are actually open right now. Nobody could answer any of it from one place, so things slipped: enquiries nobody followed up, customers nobody called back.
The software meant to fix that was expensive, and none of it was written for our trade. It could store a customer and print an invoice, but it had no idea how a textile business actually prices work or how an enquiry travels from a phone call to a confirmed order. So I stopped looking and started building.
Eighty years in the trade
My great-grandfather began trading hank yarn eighty years ago. From there he bought factories, and the family kept going — spinning, fabric, processing, garments. My grandfather pushed it further, my father after him, and now it is my turn.
Four generations of quoting, negotiating and delivering, for buyers down the road and buyers on the other side of the world. That is the experience the product is made of. Nobody had to explain the business to us before we could design for it.
Built by people in the trade, not for it
Most software for this industry is designed by technologists who interviewed a mill for a week. It shows: fields nobody fills, screens nobody opens, and the one thing you actually needed left out. Tex Flow is the opposite way round. The people deciding what it does have sat on both sides of these deals, and every screen has to survive our own working day before it reaches yours.
It is also built for how our kind of business is really run. The owner is often the head of sales. The team is eight people, not eighty. Nobody has three months for an implementation or an IT department to call. So it works on a phone as well as a desk, it is quick to set up, and it is priced for a company of that size — for the domestic market and for export alike.

Questions owners ask
What happens to my existing Excel data?
Your sheets are not imported. The costing structure is already built in — you set your own parameters and rates, which takes an hour, and from that point you quote from the app instead of Excel. Your team will be comfortable with it inside a few hours. Bringing years of old data across is possible but slower; most people simply start fresh and keep the old files for reference.
Who can see my costs?
Only the users you allow. Permissions are set per user and per page, so a merchandiser can build and send a quote without ever seeing your cost base.
What if I stop paying — do I lose my data?
You lose access to the app's features, but not your data. It stays yours: download all of it whenever you want, and delete your account with us if you choose to.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. There is an app you download and keep on your phone. Cost an order and send the quote from a customer's office, a mill floor or an airport — all you need is network.
How long does setup take?
